Accessibility
WCAG 2.2 — Level A plus selected AA (the eight criteria listed here only). Teaches eight WCAG 2.2 success criteria as everyday craft (alt text, semantic structure, contrast, keyboard access, link text, visible focus, form labels, accessible names). Once a criterion is introduced it is checked in every later chapter, not just the one that taught it.
| Criterion | Taught as |
|---|---|
1.1.1 | Non-text Content — alt text on images |
1.3.1 | Info and Relationships — semantic structure and heading outline |
1.4.3 | Contrast (Minimum) — 4.5:1 for body text |
2.1.1 | Keyboard — everything works without a mouse |
2.4.4 | Link Purpose — link text says where it goes |
2.4.7 | Focus Visible — the focus ring is never removed |
3.3.2 | Labels or Instructions — a label on every form field |
4.1.2 | Name, Role, Value — accessible names for buttons and controls |
